MORRIS-JUMEL MANSION, INC. IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT OPERATES THE MORRIS-JUMEL MANSION ("MJM"), THE OLDEST HOUSE IN MANHATTAN, AS A HISTORIC HOUSE AND MUSEUM. OUR MISSION IS TO PRESERVE, COLLECT, AND INTERPRET HISTORY, CULTURE, AND THE ARTS (SEE SCHEDULE O)TO EXPLORE INCLUSIVE NARRATIVES THAT ENGAGE AND INSPIRE DIVERSE AUDIENCES. WE PROVIDE FREE AND LOW-COST EDUCATIONAL AND ARTS PROGRAMMING, EXHIBITS AND SPECIAL EVENTS TO RESIDENTS IN THE TRADITIONALLY UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES OF WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, INWOOD, HARLEM AS WELL AS TO RESIDENTS CITY-WIDE, LOCAL SCHOOLS, AND VISITORS.
