The mission is to encourage and support the study and performance of music in the greater Baton Rouge area. The mission is accomplished through the funding of 12 scholarships for students in the Louisiana State University School of Music and two scholarships for local persons in organ music studies. The Music Club also holds a recital and study meeting each month for 8 months of the year for its members.
