THE NATIONAL COUNCIL ON ALCOHOLISM AND DRUG DEPENDENCE OF THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY(NCADD-SFV) IS A COMMUNITY BASED SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER (SUD)PROGRAM, CERTIFIED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND CONTRACTED WITH LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO PROVIDE OUTPATIENT TREATMENT TO INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING FROM ALCOHOL AND DRUG ADDICTION, CONSISTING OF INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING, AND DRUG TESTING. THESE SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE FOR ADULTS 18 YEARS AND OLDER. THE ORGANIZATION HAS A SEPARATE COUNTY CONTRACT TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY-BASED PREVENTION AND EDUCATION SERVICES TO SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES COURT CASE MANAGEMENT AND REFERRAL SERVICES (CCMS) FOR INDIVIDUALS CONVICTED OF A DRIVING-UNDER-THE-INFLUENCE (DUI) OFFENSE IN SPECIFIC COURTS WITHIN THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT SYSTEM.
