THE NHCBA SERVES THE LEGAL PROFESSION, PROMOTES THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE AND ACTS AS A CONDUIT BETWEEN THE BAR AND THE PUBLIC. IT PROVIDES CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND MEMBERSHIP SERVICES; ENCOURAGES AND FACILITATES PUBLIC SERVICE; ADDRESSES THE LEGAL NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY; AND ADVOCATES ON BEHALF OF ITS MEMBERS.
