AS AN IMPARTIAL, THIRD-PARTY ACCREDITING BODY ACCREDITED BY ANSI, NEMTAC FOCUSES ON DEVELOPING INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES, CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS, AND ACCREDITATION PROCESSES THAT ENHANCE THE SAFETY, RELIABILITY AND EFFICIENCY OF NEMT SERVICES. UNLIKE TRADITIONAL INDUSTRY ASSOCIATIONS, NEMTAC DOES NOT OPERATE ON A MEMBERSHIP MODEL BUT INSTEAD RELIES ON THE EXPERTISE AND DEDICATION OF VOLUNTEERS WHO SERVE ON ADVISORY BOARDS TO GUIDE ITS MISSION.
