THE ORGANIZATION IS AN EDUCATIONAL AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION SERVING THE INTERESTS OF NORTH CAROLINA METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATIONS AND THE TRANSPORTATION PLANNING COMMUNITY IN NORTH CAROLINA. ALL THE ORGANIZATION'S ACTIVITIES SUPPORT ITS GOALS OF EDUCATION AND CAPACITY BUILDING, POLICY ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT, AND ISSUE ADVOCACY IN NORTH CAROLINA AND NATIONALLY IN TRANSPORTATION PLANNING.
