THE ASSOCIATION WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: 1.TO REPRESENT THE CONCERNS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION. 2.TO EDUCATE, INFORM AND INVOLVE THE RESIDENTS OF THE AREA AND COMMUNITY AT LARGE ON CURRENT ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE SOCIAL WELFARE, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND STATUS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. 3.TO ACT AS A LIAISON BETWEEN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, INSTITUTIONS, BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS, AND THE MUNICIPALITIES. 4.TO ASSIST RESIDENTS IN OBTAINING MAXIMUM BENEFITS IN LIFE STYLES BY CREATING A FORUM THAT PROMOTES POSITIVE ASSOCIATIONS, EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, REHABILITATION PROGRAMS, ETC. 5.TO DEVELOP AND ADVOCATE NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERN BY STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIPS AMONG NEIGHBORS. 6.TO ENFORCE THE IMPLEMENTATIONS OF IMPROVING PUBLIC WORKS AND SERVICES IN THE AREA. 7.TO ESTABLISH AND PROMOTE ACTIVITIES TOWARD QUALITY HOUSING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA. 8.TO SPONSOR NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGS, CULTURAL AND CIVIC EVENTS THAT IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE, EDUCATE THE RESIDENTS AND/OR FU
