OREO ANIMAL RESCUE IS COMMITTED TO MAKING OUR COMMUNITY A BETTER PLACE FOR BOTH PEOPLE AND ANIMALS BY SUBSCRIBING TO THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES: 1.TO RESCUE ABANDONED/ABUSED PETS 2.TO NURTURE, FOSTER, SOCIALIZE AND FIND WORTHY HOMES ONCE THESE PETS ARE READY 3.TO ADHERE TO A STRICT SPAY AND NEUTER POLICY 4.TO ASSIST THE DICKINSON CITY POUND IN FINDING HOMES FOR UNCLAIMED PETS 5.TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE IMPORTANCE OF RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP AND POPULATION CONTROL ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY PROGRAMS INCLUDE: COMPANION DOG OUTREACH PROGRAM A COMPANION DOG ALONG WITH A VOLUNTEER MAKES WEEKLY VISITS TO PEOPLE IN NURSING HOMES. THEY ALSO GO TO SCHOOLS FOR EDUCATIONAL EVENTS. DWCRC DOG PROGRAM WE HAVE PARTNERED WITH THE DAKOTA WOMEN'S CORRECTIONAL AND REHAB CENTER.
