THE PALO ALTO SWIM CLUB PROVIDES CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE BY INVOLVING THEM IN AMATEUR AQUATICS UNDER THE DIRECTION AND CONTROL OF USA SWIMMING (THE NATIONAL BODY FOR SWIMMING IN THE UNITED STATES). THE SWIMMER'S RANGE IN AGE FROM 5 TO MID TWENTIES.
