THE INTERNATIONAL PHI DELTA THETA FRATERNITY WAS FOUNDED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF FRIENDSHIP, SOUND LEARNING AND MORAL RECTITUDE. THE NEBRASKA ALPHA CHAPTER OF PHI DELTA THETA WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1875 TO INSTILL THOSE IDEALS IN UNDERGRADUATE MEN ATTENDING THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA-LINCOLN. THE FRATERNITY'S PRINCIPLES ARE BROUGHT TO LIFE THROUGH VARIOUS BROTHERHOOD INITIATIVES, SCHOLARSHIP AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, COMMUNITY AND CAMPUS SERVICE, SELF-GOVERNANCE, AND ALUMNI AND UNIVERSITY RELATIONS.
