THE PRIMARY TAX EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HARDSHIPS DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THEIR CONTROL. THIS COULD BE A DEATH, JOB LOSS, ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT, OR OTHER EVENT CAUSING A FINANCIAL EMERGENCY FOR THE MEMBER'S FAMILY.
