THE MISSION OF THIS PUBLIC DEFENDERS OFFICE IS TO PROVIDE EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION AS GUARANTEED BY THE SIXTH AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION, TO ENSURE THE RIGHT TO COUNSEL FOR INDIVIDUALS REGARDLESS OF THE ABILITY TO RETAIN COUNSEL, AND TO ASSIST OTHERS IN THIS MISSION. WE WILL ZEALOUSLY REPRESENT OUR CLIENTS INTERESTS WITH COURAGE, DEVOTION TO DUTY, AND UNCOMPROMISED ADVOCACY, LIMITED ONLY BY THE FACTS, THE LAW, AND ETHICAL OBLIGATIONS. WE WILL RESPECT AND REPRESENT THE HUMAN WORTH AND DIGNITY OF OUR CLIENTS, AND DEAL ETHICALLY WITH ALL PARTIES IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM.
