TO COLLECT, PRESERVE, STUDY AND EXHIBIT TO THE PUBLIC THOSE OBJECTS THAT WILL SERVE TO ILLUSTRATE THE PART LANSING PLAYED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON THE AUTOMOBILE AND ITS EFFECT ON THE COMMUNITY AND ITS PEOPLE.
