THE LEAGUE PROVIDES CHILDREN THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP THE QUALITIES OF CITIZENSHIP, DISCIPLINE, TEAMWORK AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING THROUGH OUR NATIONAL PASTIME, BASEBALL. BY ADOPTING THE LITTLE LEAGUE VIRTUES OF CHARACTER, COURAGE AND LOYALTY, OUR PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO DEVELOP SUPERIOR CITIZENS RATHER THAN SUPERIOR ATHLETES.
