THE RETA TRUST WAS FORMED UNDER A RELIGIOUS TRUST AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BY TWO ROMAN CATHOLIC ARCHDIOCESES, SEVERAL DIOCESES AND SEVERAL RELIGIOUS ORDERS OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH AS A MEANS WHEREIN TO PROVIDE COST EFFECTIVE MEDICAL BENEFITS TO CLERGY, MEN & WOMEN RELIGIOUS, AND THEIR LAY EMPLOYEES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS.
