THE AMERICAN LEGION WAS FOUNDED AS A PATRIOTIC VETERANS ORGANIZATON DEVOTED TO MUTUAL HELPFULNESS OF OUR VETERANS COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO MENTORNING YOUTH AND THE SPONSORSHIP OF WHOLESOME PROGRAMS IN THE COMMUNITY, ADVOCATING FOR PATRIOTISM AND HONOR, PROMOTING A STRONG NATIONAL SECURITY, AND CONTINUED DEVOTION TO OUR FELLOW SERVICEMEMBERS AND VETERANS.
