THE LOCAL'S MISSION IS TO RAISE THE STANDARD OF LIVING OF ITS MEMBERS. IT IS THE DUTY OF THE UNION TO FIGHT FOR HIGH WAGE AND BENEFIT STANDARDS BY ORGANIZING NEW MEMBERS, MOBILIZING UNION MEMBERS FOR POLITICAL ACTION, AND BY LEADING THE STRUGGLE FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE IN OUR COMMUNITIES.
