IS TO PROVIDE CLASSICAL MUSIC TO NORTHWEST LOUISIANA COMMUNITIES.THE SYMPHONY OFFERS DIVERSE PROGRAMS REPRESENTING THE COMMUNITY IT SERVES IN A SERIES OF 8 SUBSCRIPTION CONCERTS AND 4 CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERTS. IT ALSO PROVIDES MANY IN-DEPTH PROGRAMS FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS IN THE REGION, INCLUDING CONCERTS IN THE SCHOOLS AND LARGER FORMAT CONCERTS AT CENTRAL LOCATIONS. THE SHREVEPORT SYMPHONY BROADCASTS ITS MASTER SERIES AND OTHER SELECT CONCERTS ON PUBLIC RADIO VIA THE RED RIVER RADIO NETWORK.
