The Social Register Foundation is dedicated to preserving family records going back to 1886. These SR records are considered a uniquely important legacy for American genealogical studies, family histories, and other scholastic and cultural endeavors. According to DataBank, we currently store an estimated 3.5 million pages of handwritten family records, letters, artifacts, publications, and photographs. Our commitment is to incorporate this heritage into museum-quality exhibits, interactive media platforms, lectures, and books on our history that promote the importance and understanding of the Social Register Association and its historic families who contributed in countless ways to the building of our nation. We seek the donation of a townhouse/estate to house these unique records and serve as a research center for scholars worldwide, as well as a gathering spot for old and new members alike.
