STRATFORD SHAKESPEAREAN FESTIVAL OF AMERICA
Mission
The Stratford Shakespearean Festival of America (FOA) receives tax-deductible contributions within the United States in support of Shakespearean and other classical and contemporary theatre. FOA provides a communication vehicle for member groups who support the Festival through education programs, audience development and fund raising activities. FOA promotes interest in, and the study of, the arts, through two educational programs: workshops in Michigan that introduce students to Shakespeare and support teachers in the drama-based teaching of Shakespeare's plays, and support of the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training.
