THE PURPOSE OF THE HOMESTEAD IS TO PRESERVE AND RESTORE THE HISTORICAL SITE OF THE ABRAM DEMAREE HOMESTEAD AND TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE COMMUNITY, EDUCATIONAL, AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS. THE HOMESTEAD ALSO PROVIDES FARMED FOOD PRODUCTS TO THE HOMELESS AND NEEDY.
