The purpose of Chabot-Las Positas Colleges Foundation (the Foundation for the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District, District Foundation, or Foundation) is to further public education at the community college level and promote the welfare of the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District's students, faculty, and staff in the following ways: 1) By communicating the value of Chabot College and Las Positas College to the communities of which they are a part; and 2) By providing scholarships to students, and assisting in the funding of the colleges' programs, equipment, and educational projects by soliciting and obtaining funds and other support from the community.
