ESTABLISHED IN 2022, THE GEM FUND IS THE PHILANTHROPIC ARM OF AAUW- ASHEVILLE; ITS PURPOSE IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA WHOSE COLLEGE EDUCATION WAS INTERRUPTED OR POSTPONED.
