The Home Team Foundation was founded by parents to provide an athletic outlet for their children to compete in the sport of flag football. The organization started with one team and soon grew to several teams for both boys and girls. The foundation provides coaching and the fundamentals to the game including displaying the benefits of team sports and learning basic fundamentals of teamwork. As the team grew, the founders realized that many young athletes and their families found the travel schedule not only a challenge on the family but also financially. The foundation exists to help support young athletes and the families travel and experience playing across the country on the biggest states against the best competition.
