THE OMAHA INSTITUTE FOR NONPROFIT JOURNALISM (OINJ) FORMED IN 2022 WITH A SIMPLE MISSION - HELP BUILD A SUSTAINABLE AND EQUITABLE FUTURE FOR JOURNALISM IN NEBRASKA'S LARGEST CITY. OINJ AIMS TO BE BOTH A LOCAL JOURNALISM LAB AND INCUBATOR, AS WELL AS A PARTNER FOR LOCAL MEDIA SEEKING PHILANTHROPIC SUPPORT FOR IMPORTANT LOCAL JOURNALISM.
