T.U.F.S.O.B. WAS FORMED TO RAISE MONEY WITHIN THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS WITH AN INTEREST IN THE INDUSTRY, AND TO ENCOURAGE POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION FOR THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THE INDUSTRY. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED ON A NON-DISCRIMINATORY BASIS. SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS INCLUDE FINANCIAL NEED, SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT, AND AN EVALUATION OF EACH APPLICANT'S STATED CAREER OBJECTIVES.
