SINCE 1983, THE EDC HAS SERVED AS THE MARKETING AND BUSINESS RECRUITMENT ORGANIZATION FOR THE COMMUNITIES OF TULARE COUNTY WITH THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF INCREASING EMPLOYMENT, PAYROLL, BUSINESS VOLUME, AND CORRESPONDING FACTORS. THE EDC ATTRACTS INDUSTRY TO TULARE COUNTY WHICH ENHANCES THE UNDERLYING ECONOMIC BASE OF THE COUNTY TO ENSURE THE PRESERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF AGRI-BUSINESS, LOCAL CULTURE AND QUALITY OF LIFE.
