THE FUND'S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTARY WELFARE BENEFITS TO ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES AND RETIREES AND FOR THE ADDITIONAL PURPOSE OF MAKING AVAILABLE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CHILDREN FROM LOW INCOME FAMILIES WHO HAVE GRADUATED FROM THE CITY'S PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
