THE PURPOSE OF THE MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES' FEDERATION IS TO IMPROVE THE WAGES, HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS OF ITS MEMBERS, TO PROMOTE THEIR INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL, AND ECONOMIC WELFARE; AND, TO REPRESENT ITS MEMBERSHIP IN DISBUTES WITH THEIR EMPLOYERS.
