The purpose or purposes for which the corporation is formed are: To foster and promote creativity through building educational opportunities and connections among artists, performers, audiences, and arts and culture organizations to create a thriving environment for arts and culture in the Upper Peninsula. Specifically, a. To promote arts and culture as a way to create a community aesthetic that attracts visitors and new residents. b. To provide activities and networking opportunities for artists, performers, audiences, and arts and culture organizations in the Upper Peninsula. c. To advocate for the arts as a catalyst for cultural and economic growth d. To educate the public as to the value of arts and culture in the Upper Peninsula
