Mission
TO PROVIDE SHORT-TERM EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ELIGIBLE WAYLANDRESIDENTS. ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS WILL 1) BE CURRENT RESIDENTS OF WAYLAND, MA; 2) HAVE MAINTAINED THEIR PRIMARY RESIDENCE IN WAYLAND, MA FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR; AND 3) HAVE A DEMONSTRATED FINANCIAL NEED. FUNDING IS PROVIDED FOR BASIC NEEDS SUCH AS UTILITIES, RENT, FOOD, MEDICAL BILLS, AND OTHER LIVING EXPENSES. FUNDS ARE NOT PROVIDED DIRECTLY TO THE APPLICANT, BUT DISBURSED TO THE VENDOR OF THE OUTSTANDING BILL
