THE MISSION OF THE WESTCHESTER PUTNAM SCHOOL BOARDS ASSOCIATION IS TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR OUR MEMBER DISTRICTS. IN THIS ROLE WPSBA WILL:-PROMOTE EFFECTIVE SCHOOL DISTRICT GOVERNANCE AND BOARD GOVERNANCE THROUGH TRAINING AND EDUCATION.-FACILITATE COMMUNICATION AND THE SHARING OF INFORMATION.-SERVE AS A RESOURCE ON PUBLIC EDUCATION POLICY ISSUES.-ADVOCATE FOR LEGISLATION THAT SUPPORTS PUBLIC EDUCATION.-FOSTER RELATIONSHIPS WITH ORGANIZATIONS THAT SHARE COMMON INTERESTS AND GOALS.
