Mission
THE WINSTON-SALEM POLICE FOUNDATION IS AN INDEPENDENT NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION EXISTING TO STRENGTHEN THE COMMUNITY OF WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. THE WINSTON-SALEM POLICE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE CAPACITY OF THE WINSTON-SALEM POLICE DEPARTMENT BY USING ITS FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO PROVIDE TOOLS, TRAINING, EQUIPMENT, AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH INITIATIVES THAT MIGHT OTHERWISE GO UNFUNDED THROUGH TRADITIONAL FUNDING SOURCES.
