YONKERS ARTS'S MISSION IS TO DEVELOP A STRONG, EFFECTIVE, AND COOPERATIVE NETWORK OF ARTISTS, CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS, AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WHICH IN TURN WILL HELP TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE ARTS IN THE CITY OF YONKERS. THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO SERVING THE COMMUNITY THAT SUPPORTS IT THROUGH OFFERING CREATIVE AND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, OFFERING A PERFORMANCE HALL AND GALLERY SPACE FOR LOCAL ARTISTS TO SHOWCASE THEIR WORK AND HONORING THE WORK OF ALL ARTISTS, BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
