THE 200 CLUB OF HUNTERDON COUNTY IS A CHARITABLE, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN 1976 IN HUNTERDON COUNTY, NEW JERSEY. IN 1976, ROBERT A. STEPHENSON, THEN A MEMBER OF THE SOMERSET COUNTY CLUB, RECOMMENDED TO PHILIP VAN NESS, WILLIAM BENNER AND BARRIE T. MCINTYRE, WHO WERE ALL MEMBERS OF THE NORTH HUNTERDON ROTARY CLUB, THAT IT WOULD BE TIME FOR A 200 CLUB IN HUNTERDON COUNTY. THIS CLUB WOULD BECOME THE HUNTERDON COUNTY CHAPTER AND WOULD PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SCHOLARSHIPS AND VALOR RECOGNITION TO LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICE PERSONNEL AND THEIR FAMILIES. EACH MEMBER RECEIVES IDENTIFICATION FROM THE 200 CLUB OF HUNTERDON COUNTY ESTABLISHING HIS/HER MEMBERSHIP. THE CLUB ENJOYS THE FULL SUPPORT AND ENDORSEMENT OF POLICE, FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS IN HUNTERDON COUNTY AND THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
