THE MISSION OF ACCESS TO INDEPENDENCE IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO LEAD INDEPENDENT LIVES IN THEIR COMMUNITY AND STRIVE TO OPEN DOORS TO FULL PARTICIPATION AND ACCESS FOR ALL. ACCESS TO INDEPENDENCE IS A COMMUNITY-BASED, CONSUMER-CONTROLLED, NON-RESIDENTIAL ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES A VARIETY OF SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH A WIDE RANGE OF DISABILITIES IN AND AROUND CORTLAND COUNTY.
