IN GENERAL, ITS PURPOSE SHALL BE TO IMPROVE THE DELIVERY OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES THROUGH EFFECTIVE AND COORDINATED ARRANGEMENTS OF PERSONNEL, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT WITHIN THAT REGION, AND SHALL BE AS SET FORTH IN, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ARTICLE 30 OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH LAW AND PART 800 OF THE CODES, RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK.
