THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION, AS STATED IN THE ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION, IS TO PROVIDE FIREFIGHTING, TRAINING, PREVENTION AND ALL OTHER RELATED ACTIVITIES FOR PROVIDING THESE SERVICES. THE ORGANIZATION IS COMPOSED SOLELY OF VOLUNTEERS WHO, AS TRAINED AND CERTIFIED FIRE FIGHTERS, RESPOND TO NOTIFICATIONS PROVIDED BY EMERGENCY SERVICES AND OTHERS BY "ALARM, OR TELEPHONE OR IN ANY OTHER MANNER" TO "DILIGENTLY AND IN EVERYWAY REASONABLY SUGGESTED TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE AND TO SAVE LIFE AND PROPERTY IN CONNECTION THEREIN."
