The American College of Eye Surgeons (ACES) fundamental objective is to promote high quality standards in the area of opthalmic surgical services. ACES is committed to assuring a continuing awareness of the importance and value of high quality ophthalmic surgical services among the public, governmental regulators, insurers, alternate delivery systems and others. Additionally, ACES hosts annual "Quality Surgery" educational programs, which provide a forum through which physicians are exposed to many of the newest techniques in surgical ophthalmology.
