PLEASE SEE SCHEDULE O.THE AMERICAN MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY ("AMS OR "THE SOCIETY") FOUNDED IN 1888 TO FURTHER THE INTERESTS OF MATHEMATICAL RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP, AND EDUCATION, SERVES THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICAL COMMUNITY THROUGH ITS PUBLICATIONS, MEETINGS, ADVOCACY AND OTHER PROGRAMS, WHICH: (A) PROMOTE MATHEMATICAL RESEARCH AND ITS USES; (B) ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE TRANSMISSION OF MATHEMATICAL UNDERSTANDINGS AND SKILLS TO ENSURE THE CONTINUED VITALITY OF THE PROFESSION; (C) SUPPORT MATHEMATICAL EDUCATION AT ALL LEVELS; (D) ADVANCE THE STATUS OF THE PROFESSION OF MATHEMATICS, ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING FULL PARTICIPATION OF ALL INDIVIDUALS, AND, (E) FOSTER AN AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION OF MATHEMATICS AND ITS CONNECTIONS TO OTHER DISCIPLINES AND EVERYDAY LIFE.
