The Association's primary purpose is that of keeping its members advised of changes in the automotive industry that affect management. Other purposes of the association are to foster, promote and encourage the interchange of ideas and experiences of its members; formulate and carry into opration, plans for the promotion and protection of automotive trade associations and their members, to the end that those members might be benefitted through a broader and more comprehensive scope of association activities, and to develop and advance, as far as may be possible, the automotive industry and allied lines in right and proper channels; and the promotion of programs emphasizing the essentiality of motor vehicles. This is done through summer and winter meetings, regional and special meetings, and various forms of correspondence with members.
