IN SO DOING, THE ORGANIZATION HAS ESTABLISHED AND CONTINUES TO BUILD A CONTINUING LIBRARY OF LOCAL AND REGIONAL HISTORY AND GENEOLOGY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ACTS IN AN ADVISORY CAPACITY ASSISTING LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND AGENCIES TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ON THE IMPORTANCE OF HISTORICAL PRESERVATION AND KNOWLEDGE.
