Mission
THE MISSION OF THE BARACK OBAMA GREEN CHARTER SCHOOL IS TO PREPARE STUDENTS TO BECOME INFORMED, ENGAGED AND INDEPENDENT CRITICAL THINKERS AND TO INSPIRE LEADERS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT WITH A FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENT. STUDENTS WILL BE EDUCATED IN A SCHOOL COMMUNITY THAT FOSTERS HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR BOTH ACHIEVEMENT AND CONDUCT AND FACILITATES CLEAR CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE CURRICULUM, THE COMMUNITY AND THE WORLD.
