Mission
TO PROVIDE THE STUDENT-ATHLETE OPPORTUNITIES TO COMPETE IN ATHLETIC CONTESTS WHILE PROMOTING ACADEMIC RESPONSIBILITY, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND SPORTSMANSHIP. THE B.C.I.A.A. SUPPORTS TITLE IX AND THE EQUALITY OF ATHLETIC EVENTS FOR FEMALES AND MALES, WHILE ALSO IMPLEMENTING THE RULES ESTABLISHED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION AND DISTRICT III.
