THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE PROGRAM SERVICES TO ASSIST MILITARY PERSONNEL IN MAKING A SMOOTH TRANSITION TO CIVILIAN LIFE FROM ACTIVE DUTY. THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO SERVING MILITARY PERSONNEL, VETERANS, AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE AREAS OF SOCIAL READJUSTMENT, HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, COMPENSATION, DISABILITY, SUBSTANCE ABUSE, MEDICAL TREATMENT, POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS SYNDROME, FAMILY INTERVENTION, PRISON COUNSELING, RELOCATION INTO THE COMMUNITY, LEGAL ADVOCACY, DISCHARGE UPGRADE AND REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE MILITARY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES COUNSELING, BENEFITS INFORMATION, AND "TENDER LOVING CARE AND A LISTENING EAR."
