THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING A FIRE ENGINE AND HOSE COMPANY; FOR THE PREVENTION AND EXTINGUISHING OF FIRES, AND FOR THE SAVING AND PROTECTION OF LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM INJURY BY FIRE; FOR THE PURPOSE OF LENDING SUPPORT TO CIVIC ENTERPRISES AND TO PROVIDE SOCIAL ENJOYMENT AND RECREATION FOR THE MEMBERS.
