THE CENTRAL ISLIP CIVIC COUNCIL IS A NON-PROFIT, COMMUNITY BASED AGENCY DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL RESIDENTS OF CENTRAL ISLIP. THE CICC MAINTAINS THE HISTORIC HEINES HOMESTEAD BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS WHERE WE OFFER "A STEP BACK IN TIME" ACADEMIC SCHOOLHOUSE PROGRAM, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR FAMILIES AND SENIORS. WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY FOR OUR CENTRAL ISLIP RESIDENTS WITH SUMMER VEGETABLES PROVIDED BY OUR VERY OWN GARDEN. WE ALSO SPONSOR FREE RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, AND CULTURAL AND HOLIDAY EVENTS.
