THE MISSION OF THE CHAMPAIGN URBANA BALLET IS TO PROMOTE CLASSICAL BALLET & OFFER PERFORMING OPPORTUNITIES TO TALENTED YOUTH IN THE CHAMPAIGN COUNTY AREA. THROUGH OUTREACH PROGRAMS, THE CHAMPAIGN URBANA BALLET SEEKS TO EXPOSE CHILDREN TO THE HISTORY AND BEAUTY OF BALLET. AN IMPORTANT PART OF THIS MISSION IS GIVING YOUNG DANCERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM IN A PRE-PROFESSIONAL SETTING AND PROVIDING A TASTE OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING TO PROMISING DANCE STUDENTS.
