THE MISSION OF SCOUTING AMERICA IS TO PREPARE YOUNG PEOPLE TO MAKE ETHICAL AND MORAL CHOICES OVER THEIR LIFETIMES BY INSTILLING IN THEM THE VALUES OF THE SCOUT OATH AND LAW. THE CHEROKEE AREA COUNCIL CONSISTENTLY WORKS TO GET KIDS IN SCOUTING AND KEEP THEM IN SCOUTING TO ACHIEVE A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY, STATES, AND NATION.
