THE CHESTER COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY (THE "SOCIETY") IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED TO INSPIRE, INFORM AND BUILD COMMUNITY IDENTITY BY PRESERVING AND SHARING THE REMARKABLE STORY OF CHESTER COUNTY AND ITS PEOPLE. THE SOCIETY PROVIDES PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE IDEAS, ISSUES AND PROCESSES OF THE PAST THAT HAVE SHAPED THE PRESENT. ITS EXHIBITION, RESEARCH, SERVICES AND PROGRAMS SHARE THIS ACCESS WITH PEOPLE OF ALL AGES SEEKING TO UNDERSTAND OUR SHARED HERITAGE.
